It’s time I finally share our home renovation and why I fell in love with Making Home. We are first time homeowners!

We looked at sooo many houses in the span of a year. The market was insane as we all know. We had to move fast if we liked the house (or even if we kinda liked it) and plan on going way over asking price. This pic is the very first time we checked out this house with our realtor. It was just the right fit for us. (FortyOneEleven. Justin is the absolute best! He really took care of us and was very patient. Such a solid guy.)
June 2020, we found the cutest house in the cutest neighborhood. Actually, it wasn’t too cute when we first saw it! 😀 But I knew it had potential. And we were up for the challenge. We definitely underestimated the challenge it would be, but we just did one thing at a time.
We hired out to do the wall and the counter tops, but then we did everything and in between the paint, floors, tiling, lighting, and building furniture…
